Was headed back to Milwaukee after a relaxing day at Kettle Moraine. We stopped at Fork in the Road on a whim for dinner on the way back. It blew my expectations out of the water! Very busy, but there are so many cute shops close by to pass the time while you wait. the Mac, the cheese curds, and the lasagna soup were all amazing! Our server was incredible, efficient, friendly, and kept our drinks refilled even though it was so busy. Highly recommend Fork in the Road and I will definitely be back!

We had a pleasant time coming for a lunch. The food was a true treat. Batter Haddock w potato pancakes, good. Didn't like the tarter sauce, (easy fix, didn't use). Pepper bacon burger w onion strings, cheese, pickle spear, side lettuce tomato slice w home made chips and a blue cheese dip. Very good and filling per my husband. Very tasty treat was the light battered deep fried pickles w ranch sauce, other choices sauce available too. Our server was nice! Very impressed w watching 2 very respectful staff members training a young man. Extra kudos to see such respect! Really boosted our visit watching and hearing the kindness. Other businesses could use Fork in the Roads care and concern when training new staff! Look forward to coming again! Thank you.

The restaurant is fairly plain Jane as far as atmosphere but I'm still giving it 5 stars because the service was good and the food was excellent! We ordered a steak sandwich with mac and cheese, burger add one runny egg and fries, and a brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my medium rare steak sandwich was just as tender as my husband's burger. The plain mac and cheese was simple but so flavorful . Husband loved his burger and the teenager praised their brisket. We all shared the fried onions and French fries and we all enjoyed them. Thanks for a lovely lunch today. If we find ourselves this way again, we will be certain to stop in to try some more good food.

Very good service. Solid comfort food menu. A bit more upscale than I was expecting, but was wonderful meal. We had prime rib(Saturday special) and meatloaf that was stuffed with cheese. Salad an soup came with warm piece of bread. Did not do dessert because meal was very generous. Lots of pictures of famous people from Wisconsin on walls.

Best meatloaf l have ever had. Came with soup. I had ham and cheese soup and just amazing. The staff were very attentive and if a member walked and saw an empty plate they immediately asked if you wanted it removed. The meals and service are worth every penny. I would say way more about the food and service but then this would be an hour long read. Suffice it to say you will leave satisfied. Oh, they also have a prime rib served after 3:30 pm on Saturdays and served until gone. So get there early and have a few drinks which where equally as amazing.
